TYPE

WK TOKYO launched its own brand of glasses in 2014 with designs based on different fonts.

As the choice of typeface affects expression in written communication, subtle design differences in eyeglasses frames change the impression of the person who wears them. Our glasses brand, TYPE, was inspired by the similarities between the function and design of typefaces and glasses.

 We grew the range of fonts to include Eurostile, Friz Quadrata, Optima, Serif Gothic,  American Typewriter, Bodoni and Times New Roman. All in light regular and bold
